Associate Attorney
About Me

Cole works with Illinois farmers, landowners, and drainage districts to protect and preserve farmland. He develops practical, workable solutions that align with real-world farming operations and helps clients clearly understand their options so projects can move forward efficiently. His approach prioritizes respect for the land, producers’ time, and day‑to‑day agricultural realities.
In addition to his legal practice, Cole remains actively involved in farming alongside his father, giving him a firsthand understanding of the challenges facing today’s producers. Raised on his family farm, Cole developed a deep connection to agriculture early on. While in law school, he clerked for our attorney, Kyle Emkes, where he learned to merge his legal training with his agricultural background. Today, he applies this dual perspective to effectively serve farmers, landowners, and drainage commissioners throughout Illinois.
